2007 MATCH PLAY

Herm George and Jim Cadieu have the annual match play tournament all set to start on Wed, Oct. 3, and the sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board.
Tees--White.   Handicaps--October 1 handicaps throughout tourney.
Scheduling--First-round matches will be Oct. 3. Winners schedule their own subsequent matches.
Fee--$10. Pay Herm George or Jim Cadieu.
Prizes--Plan is for four flights. If so, 1st and 2nd payoffs in each flight. Overall champion will receive a trophy.
Rules. Standard Golden Boy rules. Strokes given on the scorecard off the lower handicap. If match is tied after 18 holes, continue on to the next hole(s) until there is a winner.
First Round--Match play participations will be scheduled together. You will not be scheduled as part of the weekly $3 match. If everyone in your foursome wants to play in the regular game, too, notify the weekly captains.  Subsequent winners playing their matches on M-W-F should let the captains know your intentions. Some players find playing the $3 game a distraction to their match play.
Second Chance--Everyone not 1st or 2nd in their flight can play in a Second Chance Tournament on a date to be named.
