Handicaps Sept. 1st handicap used for the entire
tournament
Scheduling Participants will schedule their own matches.
Each match should be completed within 10 days - NO EXCEPTIONS. This schedule
will give everyone part of two different weeks to
complete each match.
Entry Fee $15.00 and should be submitted to Richard Hanks. Please make checks payable to The Golden Boys.
Prizes Hopefully we will have four flights. If so, we will pay 1st & 2nd in each flight. Overall champion will receive a trophy.
Rules Standard Golden Boys rules EXCEPT PUTTS SHOULD BE PLAYED OUT UNLESS CONCEDED. Strokes are given on the scorecard off the lower handicap. (Player A is a 14 handicap; Player B is a 19 handicap….Player B gets a shot on handicap holes 1 thru 5.) If match is tied after 18 holes, continue on to Hole #1 and each hole thereafter until there is a winner.
First Round First round opponents will be determined by the bracket and handicap into which you fall and will be posted on the bulletin board by Monday, Sept. 14th.
2nd Chance If you do not finish 1st or 2nd in your flight, we will have a 2nd Chance Tournament after October 1st (one bracket only).

MATCH PLAY CHAMPION - FRED HUBER
PLAYERS ELIGIBLE FOR OCT. 21 FOR SECOND CHANCE TOURNAMENT (Field consists of Match Play losers before reaching the flight finals) FORMAT: You must play in the regular Wednesday game on Oct. 21 and you will keep your net score for the round. This means you’ll have to play out each hole, including putting out, even if your score in the team game might call for you to pick up. You need only to sign up for the Wed game. You are already entered in the Second Chance Tournament. Your net tournament is played within the regular Wed game. You'll be on a team, as well as playing for yourself in 2nd chance. PLAY WHITE TEES. Your handicap will be the white tee handicap used in the Oct. 21 team game. One tie all tie in case of ties for prize-winning places.
