club house for women players.

6:30-9:00 pm—Cocktails/Dinner for All Players and Spouses at
Younts Center, Furman
University Campus. Cash Bar 6:30 pm; sit down surf & turf
dinner at 7:30 pm. Jackets Required. Directions: North
on Poinsett Hwy/US 276 and exit before Furman main gate at
sign to Timmons Arena/Paladin Stadium. Left on Old
Buncome Rd over 276 and right at first stop light (after
blinking yellow light) on Duncan Chapel Rd. Take first
right into back gate of Furman University. Younts Center
is first building on left.

TOURNAMENT
OUTLINE
ENTRY REQUIREMENT: Golden Boy with current golf
membership in PCC.
GUEST ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Guests may not be a golf
member of Pebble Creek Club. Guests must be 55 years of
age or older unless they are
sons/sons-in-law/brothers/brothers-in-law who may enter if
21 years of age or older.
COMPETITION DAYS: Monday/Tuesday – 4/5 June 2012
PRACTICE ROUND: Schedule with pro shop, 29 May - 3 June.
Green fees included for guests (men and women). Cart fees
not included.
ENTRY FEES: Base team fee $350.

Note: Golden Boys not entering the tournament but who
sell two or more signs by 15 May will receive a tournament
logo golf shirt.
DINNER SCHEDULE: One dinner w/ladies Monday, 4 June.
GUEST HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS: Guests with USGA handicap
will have their home golf pro verify their 1 May 2012
index and submit it to the committee NLT 15 May. Also by
1 May, guests with no current USGA handicap must submit a
minimum of five recent scores with applicable course data
for use by the committee in determining a handicap.
Guests who do not meet this minimum handicap requirement
by 15 May will be declared ineligible.
FLIGHTS & PRIZES: Four flights with cash prizes for each
team member of first through fourth place ($125 to $50
each). Closest to pin prizes on each day of competition,
one reserved for guests and one for Golden Boy on both
courses. Tee gifts of logo golf shirt and other items
will be presented on 4 June.

LADIES’ GOLF: Ladies (Golden Boy’s spouse, her guest or
both) may play a practice round with greens fees waived.
Instead of two 9 hole events, ladies may play Linkside for
18 holes on Monday, 4 June. Tee times will be scheduled
for those who play that day but no prize money will be
provided. On Tuesday, 5 June there will be lunch in Club
House Grille at 12:30 pm for all ladies who sign up. |

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
– All play will be from the black tees. The team score will be determined by
counting the best net score of the team. In the event of a tie the winner
will be determined on the basis of the best score for the last nine holes on
the scorecard. If there is still a tie then the winner will be determined
on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th
hole.
