Michigan High School Football State Champions in 1952. (Earl Morrall was a teammate). Muskegon Junior Golf Champion (18 years old and under) at age 14. Muskegon Golf Country Club Champion at age 16. Attended Muskegon Community College with a full academic Rotory scholarship. Lettered in Golf and Basketball. Graduated with honors with Associates Degree in Pre-Engineering in 1954. Enrolled at General Motors Institute Engineering Program in 1954, cooping with Buick Motor Division. Graduated with honors in 1957 with BME degree. GM sent me to the Advanced Management Program (AMP) in 1971 for an MBA degree. Graduated in 1973 with an MBA degree and membership in Beta Gamma Sigma Honor, honors fraternity for MBA graduates.
