HOLE IN ONE CLUB -- NEW FOR 2006
At the August 2005 Board Meeting, the
Board unanimously approved a motion to change the operation of the Hole-in-One
Club for the 2006 golf season, beginning April 1, 2006. This will outline the
changes and confirm things that didn’t change.
First of all, membership in the hole-in-one club is completely voluntary. Instead of collecting $3 for each hole-in-one, we’re doing a one time yearly fee of $15, which will cover every member from 4/1/06 to 3/31/07 regardless of the quantity of hole-in-ones. Anyone joining the club after 4/1/06, the fee will still be $15 for the 2006 golf year.
Payout for a hole-in-one will be $120 to any paid up member for a hole-in-one for any Golden Boy sponsored event. As before, mulligan hole-in-ones do not count. The additional $50 gift certificate is discontinued effective 4/1/06.
Please bear with us this first year. Since the 2 variables--number of members in the club and number of hole-in-ones per year--are currently unknown, we’ve set the entry fee and the payout on the very conservative side. We will adjust at the end of the year to insure things are equitable.
For those Golden Boy members who choose to join the new Hole-in-One Club, please get your $15 check (or cash) to me as soon as possible. Starting in March, I will have the paid up list posted on this bulletin board. Thank you all and good golfing! --Dan Coviello, Treasurer
